  1. Solar Technician training program provides entry level students and technicians a solid foundation to off-grid, solar electric (PV) system
  2. Fundamentals — the skills needed to design and install small PV systems and be competitive in the PV workforce.
  3. Students will learn about common solar applications, electrical basics, testing circuits with multi-meters and wiring PV circuits.
  4. Lessons also provide opportunities for students to explore the physical and electrical characteristics of PV equipment and learn how to integrate solar modules, charge controllers, batteries, and inverters.
  5. More advanced lessons focus on PV system design and installation.
