History of ITI

Ebrahim Bawany Industrial Training Centre established by the Islamic Study Centre ( Trust ) registered in August 1979 with the aim of Training the underprivileged and downtrodden sections of society in vocational trades to uplift this section both morally and economically, In 1988, after affiliation with the national council of vocational training, government of India, New Delhi, The Ebrahim Bawany Industrial Training Centre started training in three trades with 40 trainees, In 2020-2021, the institute has trained approx. 909 trainees in 32 different trades (GIA + SF + TEB + Private). To this date, total 10429 trainees have passed through this institute. a staggering 86% of our trainees are securing handsome salaries to support their families, while 14% are self-employed. out of the 10429 trainees, over approx. 1600 are placed abroad.

14 of our Trainees are Rank holders in the STATE LEVEL SKILL COMPETITION, whereas One is a Rank holder at the NATIONAL LEVEL SKILL COMPETITION.

Every year, generally Up-gradation of Existing Trades and introducing new trades that are ongoing for increasing number of Trainees and develop the activity of the entire Institute.
 
A Placement Cell is established to help Trainees to find suitable employment openings through Campus Interviews and the Trade Test Centre that was established on the Campus with Huge Workshops, Air Conditioned Rooms to conduct Table Interviews.
Recruiting Agencies are also approaching from across India to come to our campus to select Trainees for domestic as well as for abroad placement.”
