- work with various instruments to measure and control process
- Install, program, inspect, troubleshoot, and adjust electrical and mechanical equipment, instrumentation, and related information systems.
- Instrument Technicians work on electronic equipment and safety systems.
- Instrument technicians in mechanical
maintenance will maintain machinery such as valves, pumps, engines and
turbines. - The process will test and calibrate the pressure instrument
- Test the cable using (Open circuit, short circuit, earthing)
- Use PLC / DCS to detect defects in the system and fix it.
- Calibrate the transmitter through the hart communicator.
- Test and calibrate the instrument of flow measurement.
- Dismantle, overhaul and re-fit control valve.
